There is not much to say about PHP, everyone knows what it is and what it is useful for... But I have decided to dedicate a page to this programming language since I play with php a lot. I started, more or less, as a joke, or to just help a friend to build web site, and it has been more than 10 years now that I write code with this language. I found it very handy and useful if you don't need a lot to build, you don't need an enterprise solution for your web application. But even though, I have found some useful open source tool that can help you in developing a lot. CMS is a good example on that, and the first two I can list as very nice tool to use/try are
Joomla and
