Larned,
Kansas. Many of you might wonder why I went to Larned, Kansas.
Well, my dear friends, in this place I've had
one of the best experience I've ever had in all my life. I have been
an
exchange student during the year of 1998 and thanks to the people
that have hosted me, the Grosses, I have met one of the nicest people
I have ever met. Kathy and Lee Borck are wonderful people, every time I go to see them they share their love and their joy of life, there are not enough words for me to say how nice they are. Jon Skelton is the best friend I have ever had. There is only one thing that is wrong with our friendship: we live on the opposite side of the world! But this did not stop us to keep growing our friendship. It has been an honour for me to be his best man on his wedding.
His
wife, Karren, is a wonderful person as well and they are raising a
beautiful family. Terry and Joleen Gross have been my host family,
and I consider them my American family. They always have their arms
open every time I come to visit them. So every time people ask me:
why do you go to Kansas? I always answer that in this "flat"
place I have met wonderful person that fill my heart with love every
time I come to see them.
