Leeds,UK. In year 2005, Leeds has been my "home". I moved to UK for an international assignment I took when I was working for IBM. Some people call Leeds a "little London", and maybe it's true, becuase the city is very "alive". It gives you the best attraction you can find in this part of the country. I was not living downtown, since my office was a little bit outside of the city, so I decided to stay in a Hotel very close to the office, the ThorpePark Hotel, and I choose to put a picture of it, here on the right, to remaind me about the "house" I used to live in while I was in UK. But for me, the best places you can see or visit are located outside Leeds, for example York. Leeds is inside the the part of Yorkshire, and York is of course a very important and and attractive town. The pic on the left shows the "old town gate" where you can enter this ancient old Viking town. But it's not all about cities: you can be delighted by the beautiful green land and parks that you can see in this part of the country. It's like reading a book where there is the description of huge amount of green land, white sheeps and nothing more..., well fog is always there... Another little comment about UK I did not know before actually coming in this country: these people are crazy for criket! Did you know it ? Well if you come to UK you will learn few major things: drinking beer, cheering for England team, and ... cricket rules.
